Project Description:
– The project consists of a mosque and an event hall, covering an area of over 11,000 square meters.
– The company was entrusted with all metalworks, including the supply, fabrication, and installation of the entire steel structure, weighing over 600 tons.
– The steel structure was fabricated using hot-rolled steel sections (Steel 37 & Steel 52).
– The entire structure is fire-resistant for up to 120 minutes.
– The columns were constructed using the Composite Sections system, integrating steel sections with reinforced concrete.
– The roofs were built using the Steel Decking system, which combines galvanized corrugated steel sheets with reinforced concrete.
– The mosque features four minarets, a main dome with a 12-meter diameter, and eight smaller domes. It also includes separate prayer areas for men and women and five event halls.
Today, the Police Mosque stands as a landmark architectural structure in New Cairo.
